About Amanda

Amanda has been an exercise and nutrition advocate for over a decade, recently transitioning from a corporate career to a full-time Health Coaching with a NASM Personal Training certificate. Amanda’s background and corporate experience has provided her with a deep understanding of the effects of a sedentary job structure, poor ergonomics, burnout, and hormonal imbalances. Through this experience, she has worked for many years to avoid and reverse these negative impacts on her own health and has found a passion in helping others do the same.

In addition to the NASM PT certification, Amanda is a menstrual cycle educator, certified in Menstrual Cycle Health, Fitness & Nutrition Coaching. This additional expertise allows her to integrate menstrual cycle awareness into lifestyle, fitness, and nutrition plans, empowering individuals to align their health goals with their natural biological rhythms.

Key Interventions

for optimizing your overall health and well-being

  • A diet inclusive of the appropriate balance of macro and micronutrients is essential for overall health, including hormone balance. Macronutrients—proteins, fats, and carbohydrates—provide the energy and support necessary for various bodily functions, including our unique hormonal processes. Micronutrients, which include vitamins and minerals, play a key role in maintaining hormonal equilibrium and overall wellness. Adequate intake of these nutrients supports reproductive health, helps regulate menstrual cycles, and contributes to overall vitality.

  • Resistance training is crucial for women due to its numerous health benefits. It helps regulate hormonal balance, which is essential for metabolic function and menstrual health. Additionally, it plays a key role in maintaining bone density and reducing the risk of osteoporosis, particularly as women age. Strength training boosts resting metabolic rate, aiding in weight management by increasing calorie expenditure even at rest. It also enhances muscle strength and functionality, improving daily physical performance and reducing injury risk. Beyond physical health, resistance training supports mental well-being by alleviating symptoms of anxiety and depression, and enhancing overall mood and cognitive function. Incorporating resistance training into a regular fitness routine can significantly contribute to long-term health and resilience.

  • Maintaining overall health and wellness involves more than just diet and exercise—it’s also about lifestyle interventions that nurture the mind and body. Spending quality time with family and fostering a sense of community with friends can provide emotional support and enhance mental well-being. Additionally, dedicating time to personal practices such as meditation, breathwork, and creative activities helps strengthen the mind-body connection, reducing stress and promoting inner peace. These lifestyle elements are vital for achieving a balanced and fulfilling life, as they support not only physical health but also emotional resilience and overall happiness.
